Outset- the first post- by Jake 02/09/2009
From the beginning, the team hit the floor running. The biggest milestone, I would say, was thinking of a team name because we couldn't get everyone to agree, so we settled on a simple name, Green Fusion. Other than that difficulty, Frank and I had an discussion/arguement (lol) in Central's library the other day. I argued for the current "oil absorbtion" project, while he argued that we should make somewhat of a biotech catalytic converter. As you can imagine, the results of the argument were nil. As soon as the team decided on our name, we immediately dove into building a base for the project. We work in class as if we were in an office. Kenny and Taylor are working on research of the species of bacteria which we will use for the project. Keli and Shannon are working on writing various paperworks for the project, including the team and project proposals, as well as the abstract which will be included on this site once complete. I am working on the site, which is coming together slowly but nicely if i don't say so myself. I look forward to learning more about the project and moving forward on with the instrumentation. I also look forward to making a documentary an posting it. It will probably take place mostly in Long Island Sound, which is this team's most important geographical resource. teamgreenfusion@aim.com CommentsLeave a Reply |
